Rahel Fekade

A lovely lesson. Rahel has the best patience. It’s taking me a while to drill certain sentences into my head but she is the best at reassuring me and letting me know I don’t have to remember everything at once.

Rahel is so sweet and funny! we had conversation practice and a good assignment as well as discussed long term goals. Excellent teacher!

Another great lesson. I am almost ready to have a basic conversation without having to look at the resources I am given from class. I feel so much better when it comes to my confidence in speaking.

Another great lesson. I was unable to have my lesson in office and was outside but the lesson was just as wonderful as any other. The further I get into the lesson I get a little nervous that it will get harder and I will have a hard time grasping but Rahel helped me to overcome that fear. Even when I messed up I never felt judged. She was able to correct me with pronunciation and understand how certain words are broken down. We went over another set of sentences for my target conversation. They were exactly what I needed! I love how we focus mainly on foundation words and then sentences. Following up with grammar and the alphabet.

Another great lesson. This is the first Italki teacher I’ve had where I am able to recite full sentences on the second and 3rd lesson. I always thought I just wasn’t great at learning new languages but she honestly is the best teacher! If you have had multiple teachers and are on the verge of quitting, don’t! Hire Rahel instead. Each lesson goes by fast. I’ve been so happy with the amount of words and sentences I’ve learned I’ve had to remind myself to study my school work first before my Amharic work! Again… she is the best teacher ever!

Rahel is phenomenal. She is very thoughtful and patient in her teaching. Her curriculum is also very conducive to learning.
