I really enjoy my lessons with Alex. He’s well-spoken, patient, and kind, which makes learning Russian both fun and effective. Each class is a great challenge where I learn lots of new words, and I truly appreciate how he corrects my mistakes in a helpful way. I always feel like I’m making progress. Thank you so much, Alex! 😊

It was a good lesson. I struggled a bit more this week but we did talk about a topic I’m not familiar with. I am glad I was taken out of my comfort zone this week. I’ve also learnt a lot about a new topic in Russian. I’m not going to progress if it’s going to be easy. Looking forward to the next lesson.

We had a good conversation on various topics. It was light and went very quick. I look forward to my Monday nights with Sasha.

The lesson was hard enough for me to have to think and ask questions if I didn’t understand something but was still at a level that we could chat freely. Sasha just knows how to keep the conversation going and time really flies. I’m still struggling at times but I’m writing down my mistakes and preparing as best I can for the following lesson. I also have those questions we’ll go through next week. I’m aiming for fluency. As Sasha said, it’s a long process.
