I am an international businessman from Detroit, Michigan, USA. I graduated from the University of Michigan. I lived in Shanghai, China for many years. Having visited 45 countries in my life, I have many stories to share! Besides travel, I have been successful in multiple industries. Software sales, video game development, theme parks, education and international consulting are just a few.Me as a Teacher
My goal is to the help the student take their learning and English to the next level. I have many tools in my teaching arsenal. However, I find that mixing class up between structured learning and casual chat is the right formula. My business experience and travel stories make a great basis for that chat. Students listen and follow along, stopping me with questions! I also find that students' stories are a great way to have them express themselves.
