My name's Gabriel, I'm 26 and I was born and raised in Brazil. I've graduated from college recently with a degree in English and Portuguese Education and I love learning new languages, I have a good understanding of the Spanish language and I'm also studying Japanese. I've been working as an online English and Portuguese teacher for a little over a year on italki and other platforms as well.

Me as a Teacher

I'm patient, supportive and I'll adapt to your learning needs. During my long journey of learning new languages I've acquired a lot of knowledge in learning methodologies, and the most important thing I've learned is that you can only learn a new language efficiently by using it in conversation, that's why my lessons are focused on this aspect of the language and even if you are a total beginner I'm going to teach you how to communicate from the very first lesson.

My Lessons Conversational classes This type of lesson is going to be mostly conversational, so you can practice your pronunciation, listening, and speaking while discussing varied and interesting themes. General Portuguese/English lessons These lessons are perfect for beginners or students who are looking for a more structured type of lesson with a material that will take you from whatever level you're at up to fluency. Teaching Style During the lessons I'll correct the errors that you make, giving you tips on how to improve your pronunciation and also teaching you alternative sentences so you can sound more natural.
