Hi, my name is Candy and I am from Shanghai, China. I have been living in Japan for 11 years. After I graduated from university with a PhD degree in Theoretical Physics and Chemistry, I realized that communicating with people suits my personality much better than doing academic research alone. My 8+ years of experience in global marketing and sales have equipped me well for teaching Business Japanese and English. I love helping people and have a strong passion for languages and cultures. I’ve been teaching languages for 9 years and speak English, Chinese, Japanese, and conversational Spanish. Besides work and languages, I enjoy dancing Salsa.Me as a Teacher
I personally believe that the best way to master a foreign language is to expose yourself to it at every opportunity and simultaneously push yourself to use it as much as possible. Conversing with friendly people in your target language under relaxing circumstance could be an excellent approach to hone language skills. Also, given my extensive background in the global business world, my specialty is Business English and Business Japanese.My lessons & teaching style
In the class I focus on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and listening practice. I am happy to answer your questions, give suggestions and examples, and also share you with additional resources for your further study out of class.
