Iyo

I have been learning with Iyo for a year now and I’m so happy with the progress I’ve had. I’m able to have basic conversations with my friends and was even able to get placed on a higher level Japanese in my university. I really enjoy how Iyo is always being up old material with the new one so I can remember much better. I never feel pressured even when I forget something’s and she always helps me remember. Looking forward to more lessons with Iyo if you want to learn you should try lessons with her!

I only meet with Iyo once a week but we are already almost done with 4 chapters. I can make basic sentences and small conversations. I have learned a lot of vocabulary, grammar, and learned hiragana. Now we are moving on the katakana. Iyo really helps me to learn everything and remember it well with constant review and exercises. She also is very supportive when you forget some words and helps you to fix your mistakes. I recommend her for anyone learning Japanese!

I’ve already taken 14 lessons with Iyo and I’ve learned a lot already. We’ve gone through 4 units already. Iyo is really good at getting you to remember material as she always has review that’s fun and engaging. You never feel bad if you forget something and she always finds a way to get you to remember later. Looking forward to learning more from her!

I've now taken 9 classes with Iyo and I've learned a lot! Her lessons are really structured and you manage to learn a lot without feeling overwhelmed. All her activates keep me really engaged and makes me look forward to class every week. If you're thinking about learning or improving Japanese, you should definitetly consider Iyo.

Iyo is a wonderful teacher. She's always happy and encourages you so you're never afraid to make mistakes. I really like her curriculum where you review old material, play games, and learn new things so it helps me remember. I have learned a lot in the few lessons I've had with her and I will for sure be having more lessons. I recommend her for anyone wanting to learn Japanese!
