Hello! I’m from Ekaterinburg, Russia.
I graduated from the Ural Federal University with a degree in Translation Studies.
After graduating from university, I moved to Saint Petersburg, where I started my career in the field of international activities and education.
In 2022 I completed the training program “Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language” at Lomonosov Moscow State University that is the best in Russia.
I have an experience as a language teacher with students of Preparatory Department for foreign citizens at Russian university, with bilingual children (from 14 y.o.) and students with dyslexia.

Me as a Teacher
I prepare thoroughly my lessons, using various educational sources.
There are several methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language: communicative, grammatical translation, audiovisual and etc. In my practice I apply various methods depending on student’s interests. For example, someone needs to prepare for exam or plans work in Russia, another just wants to travel, find friends and understand the Russian soul, culture and traditions. I’m ready to help anyone who has a desire to learn one of the most difficult languages.
My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are structured and I keep a balance between main aspects of language learning: speaking, writing, reading and listening. I always give my students homework to consolidate new knowledge and skills acquired in lessons.
I would like to share with you one Russian proverb “Без труда́ не вы́тащить и ры́бку из пруда́” (Without effort, you can't even pull a fish out of the pond). This proverb says that if you want something, then one desire is not enough, you must definitely make a lot of effort. I believe that nothing is impossible, all difficulties in learning the Russian can be overcome thanks to student’s diligence and the teacher's correctly chosen strategy.

Teacher’s pick
Beyond doubt, one can tell that Anna has a principled effective approach of teaching, that apparently springs from her past teaching experience. Her class is well organized and planned so that even within half an hour, you can see and feel the result.

Teacher’s pick
Anna is a great teacher for beginner students like me. The lessons are well structured and she introduces new grammar at an appropriate pace. The lessons are mostly in Russian, she speaks clearly and is easy to understand. If some words or grammar topics are unclear, she can give a quick explanation in English as well. Overall, I really enjoy the lessons and feel like I am constantly improving. I can definitely recommend this teacher!
