Hi,
My name is Karen. I am from Suriname. In 1975, my country became independent from the Netherlands. So, Dutch is my mother tongue.
I love languages. I am proficient in English and I also speak French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish and the local Sranan Tongo.
Exploiting new destinations, meeting people and learning about different cultures are my favorite activities. I am also interested in getting to know you!Me as a Teacher
I studied tourism, business management and law. Since 2007, I have been teaching different subjects to adolescents, adults and professionals. I am pedagogically qualified to develop study materials, to teach and to assess students. If you are interested in learning practical or business Dutch, you are at the right place. I can help you develop your listening and speaking skills. Your pronunciation will improve and you will learn new vocabulary, grammar and typical Dutch expressions.My lessons & teaching style
