I'm an American who has been teaching for almost twenty years, over ten as a university professor. Currently in Asia, I live with my family and enjoy travel, movies, and music - both as a listener and as a struggling player!
I have two dogs which sometimes make appearances during video chats, so you might have a chance to meet them. :)

Me as a Teacher
When teaching, I try to create a friendly, low-stress environment where we can focus on your goals. You have individual goals, so I try to create lessons to match them. While I will try to help you in all parts of English, we can focus in on your specific areas of interest and actively examine how to improve.
Studying with me, you will get:
๐ฏ A customized study plan based on your short-term and long-term goals.
๐ A folder of the resources we use in class, which will grow as we study.
โ๏ธ Cloud-based documentation of our lessons, available 24/7.
๐ Optional PDFs and quizzes to improve grammar, including homework if you wish.
My lessons & teaching style
Because every student has a unique goal, I try to customize lessons to match those objectives. Learning happens best when it is enjoyable and with clear purpose, and I try to match that for each student. This might mean structured lessons with vocabulary building and grammar exercises. It could also mean simply talking about the day's events or your favorite music.
The most important thing with any language (or any skill at all) is to stick with it, and I always hope to create conditions where you'll be excited for your next lesson. :)
