Hello, I'm Maya, a law student at Tel Aviv University and a native Hebrew speaker. With experience teaching Hebrew to new immigrants, I offer personalized lessons that match your pace and level. In our lessons, we'll learn to form new sentences and practice spoken Hebrew, while also incorporating reading exercises to enhance vocabulary and comprehension. I have a relatively structured method for learning. First, we’ll get to know some basic words. Then, we’ll start practicing present, future, and past tenses. Finally, at a pace that suits you, we’ll begin reading simple articles in Hebrew, so you can understand the reading and also learn to speak Hebrew using everyday language. I am a patient and calm teacher, and I’ll help you feel confident and successful.My lessons & teaching style
In my Hebrew lessons, I follow a clear, step-by-step approach that adapts to your pace. We begin with basic words and phrases, building a strong foundation. Once you’re comfortable, we move on to practicing sentences in the present, past, and future tenses to help you understand how Hebrew works in daily conversation.
After gaining confidence with these basics, we’ll start reading simple articles in Hebrew. This helps you not only understand the language but also see how Hebrew is used in real-life situations. My goal is to make Hebrew feel natural and accessible, giving you the tools to speak and read comfortably.My teaching material
