Gina Gargoles

Gina is a very caring and patient teacher, and she pays attention to what I want to learn. She's always happy to make great new original learning materials, and tailor her lesson style and topics from my requests. Her personality is warm and gentle and she's open to chatting about local lifestyle too. She helps me with pronunciation and language structure using practical sample sentences, which also impart some Philippines customs in our lesson.

I really appreciate how Gina is active about expanding my Tagalog vocabulary. It feels great to feel like I'm consistently 'leveling up' rather getting stuck with the same beginner materials aka 'tutorial hell'. Again, my Tagalog knowledge is steadily refining and I'm super thankful for that!

I've had a couple of classes with Gina, and I've to say, its been such a pleasure to learn Tagalog with her . Gina is friendly , approachable and well organized. She adapts the classes' to my learning needs and Im enjoying them. The classes' are very interactive which include, phrases, stories and general tit bits , so the learning sessions are fun and not monotonous. Its commendable that she scheduled one of the classes late night, so that she could adjust to my time zone .I was really impressed to see the commitment level. If anyone wants to learn Tagalog, Gina should be your first choice . I can assure you that you wont find anyone more committed than her. Im looking forward to learn more from her.

Great lesson with Gina! We finished learning about commonly-used adverbs, and also learned about subject pronouns. Gina explained how they are used differently depending on word order. Gina also is really good about pointing out words that have a different meaning based on stress, which is important for understanding and pronunciation!

Had another fun filled session today . We discussed about adjectives , as usual lots of examples and cultural references. I’m Excited for the next class . Gina you are the best !
