Hi!
My name is Elisabeth and I am a native Norwegian speaker from Kristiansand, Norway. I have been tutoring for more than 10 years and I love teaching Norwegian as a second language. I have traveled and lived all over the world, and I have an MA in psychology and counseling, BA's in pre-medicine, biology and political science, and I am currently working on my MDIV, an MA in political science, as well as my application to medical school.
Me as a Teacher
I teach both individual lessons and intensive courses in Norwegian. I do not have a single approach to teaching because all of my students are different. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I will adapt my teaching style to your needs. During our first lesson I try to get to know you a little bit better and we decide on an approach together. I often use a textbook when I teach, combined with online exercises and quizzes, but I am flexible and willing to work with your learning style. I hope to see you in class!
My lessons & teaching style
I am currently accepting new students for Norwegian intensive courses for levels A1, A2 and B1-B2. The courses run for for 6 weeks, 9 hours a week, and it starts November 5th
I have loved teaching and coaching all of my life. I grew up in elite gymnastics and coached gymnastics for more than 10 years. I have tutored students in most academic subjects, and I can help you reach your language goals as well! My hope is that you will have fun, build your confidence, and grow to love the Norwegian language and the Norwegian culture! If you have any questions, feel free to message me:) I hope to see you in my class!
Elisabeth is a fantastic teacher! She explains the concepts very clearly and systematically and is great at providing useful examples to help further my knowledge. I would definitely recommend her to any student wanting to learn Norwegian at any level!

Vi hadde en flott første time, og vi diskuterte hva som vil være mest effektivt å jobbe med. Jeg gleder meg til å fortsette med undervisningen!
