I am a BA Languages graduate doing a postgraduate degree in Interpreting in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am in love with language learning and currently have 5 under my belt! (Eng, Bg, It, Esp, Fr) I am born into an Italian family on my mother's side and a Bulgarian one on my father's side. When I was 7 years old my parents and I moved to Bulgaria where I learned the language in school. This was difficult because I had absolutely no clue what people were talking about...for a solid 6 months. But, once I learned the language, I spent time learning Italian, French, and Spanish. I dream of being a successful interpreter and traveling to new places to help join others in conversation.

Kristina is a wonderful English teacher. She puts together conversation lessons that match the student’s (my) needs, and she’s great at going with the flow to keep things easy to talk about. She’s always mindful of my English level and vocabulary, adjusting the speed and words she uses so I can follow along comfortably. She’s not just kind—she really thinks about what kind of lesson works best. I think she’s a great teacher for learners at any level.
