Hi, my name is Silje, and I'm a native Norwegian speaker. I'm positive, patient, and kind. I'm also a good listener, so people feel comfortable around me, being themselves. I think this is beneficial when learning to speak a language.Me as a Teacher
I have experience in teaching both professionally and as a volunteer worker. I truly enjoy teaching people of all ages. As I mentioned in the video, the Norwegian language is divided into two forms: Bokmål and Nynorsk. Since I'm from the west coast of Norway, I can help you understand both Bokmål, which is the main form of Norwegian, and Nynorsk, which is more similar to my dialect.
I have a TESOL certificate in teaching English. This course has helped me examine what is important as a teacher of any language.My lessons & teaching style
Whether you are just beginning or are more advanced, I'm happy to help you progress in your ability to speak Norwegian! I will make it a fun experience by using visual aids and tasks. Stories will help you to read, gain vocabulary, and deepen your understanding. If you would like to learn grammar, correct spelling, and sentence structure, I can also assist you with this.
