Yuki

I’ve now completed 11 lessons with ユキ先生, and want to reiterate what a supportive, patient and helpful tutor and teacher she is. She’s been willing to talk about and try various ideas I’ve had for class, and of course she offers options and suggestions, too, so it feels like a good learning partnership. Plus, ユキ先生 is very friendly and approachable, which makes conversation easier and allows it to flow naturally from topic to topic. It’s always a nice surprise when a whole 30 minute block has passed so quickly through just conversation.

Yuki sensei's conversation lessons are among the most awaited moments of my week. Today I talked with her about the changing of the clocks to winter time in Germany respectively Europe and Yuki taught me some very specific words that I'm itching to use as often as possible from now on. Thanks to Yuki it is now easier for me to keep up my motivation and excitement about exploring this wonderful language, which, despite being difficult in many aspects, is doubless the most intriguing and fascinating language I've come to discover so far. :)

I really appreciated the lessons I had so far with Yuki-sensei! The atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed, and Yuki-sensei is very patient. I had a lot of time to talk. Yuki-sensei listens to what I want to stay even if it is difficult to understand, and gives me simple alternatives to say what I really mean, following the correct grammar patterns. She can also speak English, so when I really don't know how to express a word or an expression, she can understand and say it in Japanese right away! I haven't had many lessons with Yuki-sensei yet but I can honestly recommend lessons with her to anyone! Looking forward to the next one!

Yuki Sensei is a great, patient teacher that isn't afraid to correct my many mistakes (she even asked if it's okay to do so). She speaks clearly and slowly which allows my beginner brain to keep up. Her classes are welcoming and feel like you're just chatting with a friend. I would recommend her to anybody that is studying Japanese.

Yuki San, thank you so much for all your support and for many interesting and fun lessons in 2024. I'm looking forward to many more of them in 2025. You're an awesome teacher and I am happy and thankful that you are here on italki. See you next year! :D

Yuki Sensei graded my writing and gave me suggestions on what I can improve on. I’m excited to write more with her assistance. It’s very fun to casually chat as well! Thank you.
