My name is Marlie, I’ve lived in Turkey for over two years and now I am in China. Living in foreign countries has really expanded my knowledge and understanding of the world and appreciation for different cultures. I have travelled extensively and am learning and enjoying different cultures. I have been a volunteer teacher for many years and I’ve specifically been teaching online for over a year now. I have a 99% approval rating on another teaching platform. I have my TEFL certificate. I’ve discovered that teaching has become a passion for me. I am good at motivating people and building confidence in their own abilities. I love to see the progress people make in their English learning journey, and I’m sensitive to their needs and desires that motivate them to take on this, at times, challenging language.
