Hi, I’m Keiko. I live in Osaka with my husband, daughter, and a dog(pug). I love to get to know a foreign country’s culture. I studied abroad in the US for a year and lived in Malaysia for 3 years. My hobbies are watching TV dramas from abroad and movies, and traveling. I’ve been to the US, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Tunisia, and Sri Lanka. My favorite anime: SPY×FAMILY, Studio Ghibli, and Sgt. Keroro. ★Work experience★ Japanese language instructor Private tutor Education (manager) Insurance company

Keiko -sanいつもありがとうございます!レッスンはすごく楽しかったです。Keiko is very patient with me. She picks up what I want to say, and corrects it in Japanese which is so helpful! She takes notes of my mistakes and we study it together at the end of the lesson. She even gives me feedback material for my review! What a wonderful teacher.

I had another wonderful lesson with Keiko-san today. I really appreciate the variety of activities we did and she clearly puts a lot of time and effort into personalising the lessons. I struggle to remember numbers (in Japanese and English haha) but Keiko-san is really patient and encouraging, and reviews past mistakes so I remember for next time. I get to learn a lot about Japanese culture too, and Keiko-san asks me questions about my daily life so it is a cultural exchange (and I am doing my best to communicate it in Japanese, but if I have to use English, that doesn't bother Keiko-san and she teaches me how to say it in Japanese). I am excited for my next lesson with Keiko-san and look forward to what I will learn next. Thank you for creating such fun lessons and being a joy to learn from! おつかれさまでした :)

I enjoyed my lesson with Keikoさん very much. She is kind, patient, and uses different teaching strategies to make the lesson interesting and put what I learnt into practice. I wasn't feeling confident but even when I made mistakes, she was encouraging and helped me understand. I highly recommend Keikoさん and I look forward to my next lesson :)

I had a lot of fun during Keikoさん's lesson today. Every class is always a little bit different so it is never boring, and Keikoさん works hard to make her lessons creative and at an appropriate comprehension level. It never feels like we are moving too quickly or slowly, and I am always pleasantly surprised when I see Australian references in her lessons, or she has included something I mentioned previously into her slide deck. I really appreciate Keikoさん's hard work, and I feel comfortable to make mistakes and ask questions when I don't understand the grammar rules. Every lesson is fun and I look forward to the next one :)

I’m having so much fun with my Japanese lessons with Keikoさん - today we focused on particles as well as past/present tense and asking/responding to questions. I really struggle with remembering the different particles and constructing sentences in the correct order, but I learnt many new things today. Keikoさん was really encouraging and patient and I feel like I am beginning to understand particles (particles are something that I’ve struggled with grasping during my own self-study for a long time, so I’m really happy that I feel like I don’t need to guess anymore). I’m looking forward to learning more next week! けいこさん、ありがとうございます♪
