Me as a Teacher
My first time teaching was in South Korea. This was only for one month, but it really impassioned my desire to teach English, and soon after, I was teaching in Japan. Now I'm back home in Canada, teaching from home. I'm hard-working, diligent, and put my students' interests first.
I strongly encourage my students to ask questions, and to not be afraid of making mistakes. Some of the best teaching moments I've had come from students making an error, and it demonstrates a common problem that many other students have had; this not only shows the student that their mistake isn't so bad, but also that it's not a sign of personal weakness.
My lessons & teaching style
I teach via Zoom, with premade lessons. I have 5 difficulties:
Level 1 - Beginner
Level 2 - Elementary
Level 3 - Intermediate
Level 4 - Advanced
Level 5 - Expert
Each lesson has 5 sections:
- Introduction (Lesson point, Lesson theme, and example conversation)
- Grammar and Vocbulary (Key language format is explained)
- Listening (I will act out a conversation, and the student answers questions relating to the key language)
- Practice (Two stages, the first being easier than the second)
- Everyday Use (The key language is used in more general contexts, outside of the main Lesson theme)
At the beginning and end of each lesson, I start and finish off by asking what's new and what's next.

The teacher is very good. They explain things clearly, not too fast, and make it easy to understand.
