One of Zahra's best qualities is her genuine interest in understanding not just your goals for learning a language but the reasons behind them creating a meaningful learning experience. Zahra is helping me improve my grammar, word order, and declensions—areas that can be particularly challenging in German. Her teaching style is clear, patient, and encouraging. I appreciate Zahra's understanding of what it’s like to learn a second and even a third language. Der Unterricht ist immer gut vorbereitet und nützlich, ich liebe ihn und er macht mir (endlich) wieder Lust, mein Deutsch zu verbessern!

Zahra was very nice and prompt to all of our scheduled classes. My daughter did say she learned from her; however, there was definitely a language barrier issue. Zahra's profile says she speaks English well, but my daughter said that when she didn't understand her German lesson and asked for her to explain she had difficulties understanding her because she wasn't really able to explain it to her in English. Also, she did have some technical issues during several classes where her microphone would cut out and documents she was trying to share wouldn't load on the screen. We did use italki's classroom. All in all, my daughter did learn some new German from her, and she is very nice and prompt, but as a native English-speaking student she was difficult to communicate with when explanations in English were necessary. This is why I gave 4 stars.
