Hello! I'm Lana, a Korean teacher born and raised in Korea. I majored in elementary education and taught various subjects such as Korean, English, Science, and Art. I have also completed the Korean Language Teacher Training Program, known as KFL (Korean as a Foreign Language). With over 10 years of teaching experience in public schools, academies, and private tutoring, I'm passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. I have been involved in volunteering for Korean language education and participated in many language exchange meetups. I'm also a travel enthusiast who loves experiencing different cultures. If you want 'casual conversation practice', we'll engage in authentic Korean conversations, where I'll correct any mistakes and offer suggestions for improvement. The aim here is to help you speak Korean naturally and confidently.

Elementary School Teaching Certificate - Ministry of Education - 2017I graduated from Gyeongin National University of Education to obtain my Teaching Certificate, an official certification issued by the government. Having this certification enables one to take the Teacher Certification Examination, and in fact, I passed the examination and worked as a public school teacher in government service.

Ms. Lana is an excellent teacher and an engaging conversation partner. I'm gradually gaining confidence in my speaking ability while filling in vocabulary gaps across both common words found between all languages and highly specific words that are more endemic and unique to Korea.
