Hanna 한나

It’s always a real pleasure to have classes with 한나 샘! I’ve been working with her for several months now, and I can really feel my progress—especially in speaking, where I’m becoming more and more comfortable. 한나 샘 is a kind, encouraging, and attentive teacher. She’s always available to answer questions and doesn’t hesitate to adjust the lesson according to my needs or goals. She also provides helpful resources to reinforce what we’ve learned. On top of that, her classes are always fun and engaging, which makes learning even more enjoyable. I highly recommend taking lessons with her — you won’t regret it!

I'm very glad to have Hanna as my tutor! Her lessons are very well prepared with materials that are tailored to my learning needs. I'm traveling to Korea soon and so we use a textbook especially written for traveling as well as practicing various roleplaying scenarios such as ordering food at a restaurant or checking into hotels. Since my focus is on speaking, Hanna always encourages me to speak more and corrects my mistakes. Thanks to her, I'm getting more confident with speaking Korean. Each class begins with a review session which I find super helpful! Hanna also sends detailed notes after class so I don't have to worry about taking notes during the lesson. Every class with Hanna has been engaging, fun and fulfilling! I have now completed 20 lessons with her and have felt my Korean skills have grown a lot since day 1. She provides an encouraging and safe space for me to be able to practice and grow in all areas; speaking, listening, reading and writing. I was a true beginner at the start with only a couple of months of self study under my belt and now I feel much more comfortable using and comprehending Korean. Hanna is an amazing conversation partner and teacher! - She always brings a ton of positive and cheerful energy to every lesson that immediately makes me comfortable even speaking in my broken Korean. - She does a great job of speaking at a level I can understand while also consistently introducing new terms. - She writes up a comprehensive review of every lesson that I can easily study on my own time between lessons. - She always puts in effort to come prepared with interesting topics for us to talk about. After having classes with Hanna, it feels much easier to speak and try to work around words I don't know yet. I'm less worried now about going back to Korea and feeling like I still have so much more to learn. Hanna is a really good listener and while I feel sorry for her having to guess what I mean sometimes, I am thankful for her being able to help me acquire new vocabulary in a stress-free environment. 항상 감사합니다!
