Hi everyone, my name is Kay, I am a native speaker in Chinese and Cantonese and I am also fluent in English, currently residing in Hangzhou. I previously worked in the health and skin care products industry as a marketing planner for 20 years for China and Hong Kong markets. I once lived in Beijing, Hong Kong，Korea and currently living in Hangzhou.
I've always loved travelling and learning about new cultures as I believe it opens my mind to the beauty of what the world has to offer! A few words to describe me would be flexible, approachable, motivating and patient.Me as a Teacher
I teach practical Mandarin and I have been teaching it for the past 6 years online and offline to students with different ages, levels and goals.
I got a BA degree in International Business Studies and a Certificate of Achievement of Grade 2A of the Putonghua Proficiency Test（PSC）
Helping students reach their goals brings me so much joy. I am very flexible and adaptable, I always revise the plan according to the students’ progress, and will also adjust the teaching method to maximize the full potential of every student.My lessons & teaching style
I believe a friendly attitude with students is the best way to make the lessons effective and enjoyable. I aim to make my class lively, interesting, engaging and easy to follow.
I encourage students use lots of speaking to build self confidence and simplify the complex to help them improve their daily language of the scenario of their interests.
My teaching style is student centered, as I give students enough time to participate their Chinese. I like using different approaches to help them build up a good level of Chinese.
