Hi everyone!
I´m Vera and from Germany.
I have been fascinated by languages for a very long time now, as they give us a glimpse into another world. After being an Au Pair in England, I realised that I not only enjoy learning languages myself, but also teaching them.
In addition to my passion for teaching, I enjoy listening to music, trying out different sports, travelling and baking.Me as a Teacher
As I enjoy learning languages myself (currently Japanese and Swedish), I know how exhausting and sometimes frustrating it can be. But don't worry, I'm very patient and we'll work together to achieve your goals at your own pace.
I am currently doing my teacher certificate so you´ll have a very motivated and up-to-date teacher in me.My lessons & teaching style
It is very important to me that my lessons are adapted to my students. My studies in education and my experience as a teacher help me to organise your lessons in such a way that you learn as much as possible and have fun at the same time.
As language is multi-layered, the didactics and methodology of my lessons will also be multi-layered. However, it is important to me that you will be able to understand, read, write and especially speak in German, and all this in authentic situations. That's why my lessons are designed to get you active and try out the language. And don't worry, making mistakes is completely normal and will help you in your learning process.My teaching material
