I am from the northern U.S. and currently living and studying in Italy. I am passionate about all things business, and I like gardening and traveling in my free time.Me as a Teacher
I'm TEFL-certified with two years of informal and formal experience in teaching English. I also speak Italian at a B2 level! As a language learner myself, I aim to teach in the same way I learn. I see myself as analytical and I like to break language down into its components to understand the "how?" and "why?" of grammar or vocabulary to ensure understanding before use.My lessons & teaching style
I offer lessons to intermediate and advanced students with a focus on strengthening grammar and conversational skills. For my intermediate students (B1-B2) I focus more on grammar and for my advanced students (C1+) conversation and input.
I work best with Italian students as I can explain English grammar and vocabulary from the context of their native language.
I believe language is learned through "doing," so I incorporate real language elements into lessons as much as possible.My teaching material
