I'm a positive and outgoing native English speaker from the USA with a deep love for exploring foreign lands and different cultures. Life has taken me on quite the journey—travelling to over 50 countries and spending 13 unforgettable years living in Australia. My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an MBA, giving me a unique blend of skills that I bring to teaching English.
I've had the chance to work in diverse fields, including cosmetics and wine, music event promotion and advertising campaign management. But what truly drives me is connecting with people from all corners of the world and sharing in the beauty each person and place has to offer.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, my goal is to help my students feel confident speaking English in any situation. With my unique background, I’m well-prepared to guide students on their journey toward more natural, conversational English. Together, we’ll enjoy exploring the expressive power of language, making the process both fun and rewarding. I aim to keep our lessons lighthearted but focused on clear, engaging conversation, ensuring my students can communicate effectively in any setting. Since I also love practicing Spanish, I’m a great fit for native Spanish speakers looking to improve their English skills!My lessons & teaching style
I believe the best way to learn is through consistent practice of engaging, interactive conversation. In my lessons, we will focus on discussing a variety of topics. We can also role-play real-life scenarios to prepare for potential interactions in the workplace and out in the world. The key is to have fun, practice regularly, and build confidence with each interaction. I'd like students to think of me as a fun and friendly guide on their English journey. No pressure, just a supportive environment where mistakes become opportunities to learn.My teaching material
