Hi everyone! I'm Margherita, a 26-year-old native Italian teacher. I was born and raised in Cortona, a beautiful little village in Tuscany, and for the past seven years, I've been living and working in the wonderful city of Bologna. I'm a sunny, attentive, and curious person. I love connecting with people and having the opportunity to exchange ideas and different perspectives on the world – that's why I love my job! I'm passionate about novels, adventurous travels, and mountain hiking!Me as a Teacher
I am a prepared teacher, constantly seeking new stimuli to expand my personal knowledge and improve my teaching methods. I am very organized, yet flexible and dynamic. My students appreciate my empathy and my ability to make them feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. I firmly believe that, before teaching, it is essential to create an environment where students feel ready and motivated to learn! Can't wait to meet you!My lessons & teaching style
I use a communicative-relational method. Each student brings their own background knowledge to the lesson, which I use to design a didactic path that best suits their cognitive style and learning needs.
My lessons begin with exposure to authentic linguistic material (a song, a video, a podcast...) from which we observe the linguistic aspects that are the focus of the lesson. We then proceed with consolidation exercises and finish with simulations and role-playing games where the learned structures are used in an active and fun way!
