I´m a teacher with a passion for languages and have had great experiences learning online. I've also lived in various countries, including England, Germany, and Spain. Therefore, as a language learner myself, I know the challenge that it takes to learn a new language. Me as a Teacher

I studied languages at a university 2014 - 2021 to become a teacher. I've gained cultural and language experience in many countries, such as Spain, where I stayed for 2 years. My classes are highly interactive, centered around the student's needs. From my perspective, online teaching presents an exceptional chance to enhance communication abilities, providing ample space for students to practice speaking without the fear of making mistakes. Nowadays, learning has never been easier using tools like Zoom, Skype or Google Docs to work together in real time. The key for successfully language learning lies in having a learning objective. Therefore, I offer individual lessons in which I help students to set learning goals. I will offer a huge variety of teaching material, no matter if you are looking for grammar, vocabulary or having rather more conversational classes. I'd like to strongly recommend Thomas as a German teacher. I started taking weekly classes with him in the summer of 2020 when I was maybe a strong B1 level speaker. Those classes helped a lot to enhance my speaking and vocabulary, and culminated in a Goethe C1 certification this February with a note 'excellent', and only losing 1 point in the Speaking part. Very competent and strongly recommended!

Itaki has asked me to review Thomas as a teacher. Thomas is a very talented teacher who delivers high-quality lessons tailored on a weekly basis depending on what I wish to work on. Thomas makes learning German fun and is excellent at explaining difficult concepts in a variety of different ways. He uses multiple teaching methods to promote effective learning. Since learning with Thomas my German has improved dramatically, even more so than when I lived in Vienna for five months learning German on a daily basis. I am a native English speaker and I can say his English is truly first class. My desire is to speak fluent German and I believe Thomas will get me there. It took me a while to find the right teacher on Itaki, speaking from personal experience I highly recommend booking a lesson with him, I promise you won't regret it. Jonathan Somers
