My name is Joe and I really enjoy traveling and have traveled to many countries before settling here in Taiwan! Like you, I am a language learner. I have been learning Mandarin for what seems like forever and I still have a long way to go.
In university I studied International Relations, Foreign Affairs, and Cross-Strait Relations so if you have an interest in these subjects I would be happy to discuss them with you!

I enjoy watching students progress over time especially when it comes to conversation. My lessons are going to suit you well if you want to practice speaking more naturally or more creatively. I find that studying phrasal verbs is one of the most useful ways to improve quickly. Not to mention phrasal verbs are what native speakers actually use!My lessons & teaching style
I enjoy learning through conversation, asking you questions and challenging you to answer and then correcting you on the spot. We can practice new phrasal verbs or idioms that native speakers actually use. Imagine how quickly you can improve learning 4-5 new phrases every lesson.

What a vivid lesson! Joe is excel at taking his family on a really wonderful and fulfilling trip. He planned the Taiwan trip out really well, way better than a group tour would have been!
