I was born and raised in the diverse city of Johannesburg, South Africa. I am a university student and who enjoys her degree a lot. In my spare time I am either watching movies or reading a good book, however I have taken an interest in tennis lately. I am always told that I am friendly and I always have a smile on my face. I believe that a smile is often the best accessory that can improve my day and hopefully the moods of anyone I meet.Me as a Teacher
I have always had a great love for English in high school and this pushed me to pursue a degree in teaching the language. My journey in teaching English formerly began last year where I got to learn the different methods of properly teaching English and I am enjoying it. I have spent over 3 months in teaching practice and this has increased my motivation to teach anyone who needs it. I recently joined the teaching online community when I got my TEFL certificate. This decision came about when I got the brilliant idea of doing what I love while helping people online as I wait to formerly qualify to teach in schools. I ensure that each of my lessons are catered to my students' needs. I always allow my learners to tell me what they wish to achieve from the sessions and I create a methodology that best fits their English levels and goals. I pride myself in using different resources such as pdf's, videos, images etc. to cater to the different learning styles of my students. My lessons can range from structured lessons to flowing conversational lessons that best suite my students. I often focus on promoting correct language usage and confidence in English speaking. My teaching approach is always student centered and aims to enrich my students in a well-paced and fun way.Education

Other - English Home LanguageI completed my high school diploma 2 years ago where I majored English Home Language. This is where I developed my passion for English and decided to pursue a degree in teaching the language.
2023 - Current
Bachelor’s - Bachelor in EducationI am currently completing my degree in teaching English at a university in South Africa. I recently completed my second year and I am waiting to advance to my third year in 2025. I major in different ages of students which helps me teach all types of students in my online classes.
