My path into education began in 2013 as a full-time K-12 substitute teacher, providing opportunities to develop valuable classroom management skills and adaptability across various subjects. Additionally, I served as a Youth Health and Fitness Coordinator, focusing on holistic student development through physical activity and wellness initiatives. My experience further extends to teaching high school World History and Geography, where I fostered a deeper understanding of global cultures and historical contexts among students. I’m a musician who loves rock and roll and appreciates a good sense of humor. I enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking the river-ways.

As an educator, I focus on remaining a reflective practitioner. My approach is grounded in professionalism, patience, and mutual respect. I value diversity and multicultural awareness and aim to foster academic success through engaging lessons tailored to meet individual student needs. My experience spans K-12 classroom teaching, online instruction, private tutoring, and scoring written and verbal responses for university placement tests for ESL students.
