Mexican translator and writer currently living in Brazil. I came to this beautiful country to study a degree in Human Rights, I fell in love with a Brazilian woman, we got married, and now my life is here. I have worked as a linguist in the corporate industry for a long time, but I'm trying to switch to a career that is more in touch with people.

I try my best to adapt to each student's needs. I can be just a fun person to talk to, or a very serious and professional tutor to get you through a test or help you navigate your academic or work responsibilities.

I focus in conversation, reading, and writing, but I can tailor a learning program to your specific needs: for instance, if you want to learn Spanish to travel, or take a deep dive in specialized texts for an academic degree.

I am really glad that, by browsing through Enrique's profile, I stumbled over Jesús Gardea, a Mexican writer that I had not known before and on whose work Enrique is an expert. I obtained a short text of Gardea from the internet, booked a class with Enrique and we went right into medias res. Now, I am equally glad that I booked the class. Tomorrow we will continue with the text.

This was a very productive lesson for me. Enrique is very supportive and asked guiding questions that led me to talk a lot, which is exactly what I was looking for in a conversation lesson. He's also good at making minor corrections as you go without disturbing the flow of conversation. Definitely recommended. Gracias, Enrique. Hasta la próxima.
