It's Álvaro here. I am a very passionate teacher of the wonderful Catalan language and its cultural and regional features. Although I am currently based in Germany, I am originally from Alicante, in the region of Valencia, where amazing local people, food and unique regions are awaiting for your next visit and your unique language skills you will develop with me!Me as a Teacher
I am a very dynamic teacher who has got experience in teaching on an intermediary and beginner level. I have got a Degree in Translation and Interpreting, so languages are my most beloved passion and being able to teach them to different people is just a gift I am very thankful for!
You can expect a very sympathetic and patient teacher who always loves to go step-by-step and adapt to each one's specific knowledge. I consider this to be very important as it is key to making my students feel in the most comfortable way possible. And, if you don't mind, you'll expect a humorous person from time to time!My lessons & teaching style
We will go step-by-step once I get to know about your profile and knowledge in the language. I tend to touch on regional differences but with a main focus on building fluency. I tend to be very available outside the time of courses to answer your inquiries or any small question on the previous lessons we had. Thus, we will both make sure you're all set for the next lesson!
I usually prepare visually pleasing documents and presentations to prepare or brush upon the lesson. I also strongly recommend articles, news and series to increase your interest in our culture and brush upon the knowledge acquired with me. He explains grammar very clearly and notes are written on pdf for future study.

Álvaro is a exceptional professor. He is very present, he listens and adjusts the lesson to what is needed, giving very clear explanations. We have interesting conversions new experiences vocabulary, plus he is very kind, caring and patent. I highly recommend Álvaro.
