Hello, my name is Tohru. I majored in teaching Japanese as a foreign language at university and have had 25+ years of real-world experience as a bilingual corporate executive. Whether you are a novice learner or already an advanced speaker of Japanese, I offer lessons for those striving to achieve a high level of proficiency in Japanese.

I specialize in language education and am a certified Japanese teacher. I have also tutored students in Japanese at a university in California.
As a bilingual speaker of Japanese and English with years of experience in both languages, I am also a professionally trained Japanese-English interpreter.
In addition, I have extensive experience working in marketing, using both Japanese and English. This allows me not only to help you master the Japanese language but also to provide advice and support on what is expected of business professionals in Japan. I can guide you through the culture, etiquette, and other key business matters essential when working in Japan or with Japanese companies.My lessons & teaching style

We’ll engage in discussions on various topics, often using current events and newspaper articles. This approach will help broaden your range of expressions and introduce vocabulary beyond everyday use. I will also suggest more natural and accurate expressions, focusing on pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
Pronunciation Correction:
