Had a great lesson with Mari sensei today. We had some casual conversation about travel plans and other things then jumped back into Minna no Nihongo. She had prepared a prop and some additional exercises to go along with the chapter's material. It really helped to understand the material. Thank you, sensei!

Another great lesson with Mari-san. We continue to work through the Minna no Nihongo book 1 and making steady progress. Her interest and concern for students' learning are evident. She checks with me whether the pace is okay, always asks if I have any questions or things I didn't understand. A top-notch teacher!

Had a very interesting conversation with sensei Mari today, especially about Japanese culture during New Years. We also had a good review lesson covering a number of grammar patterns learned over the last couple months. It's going really well. Looking forward to the next lesson!

Today's lesson was very good. We had some interesting discussions of vacationing on cruise ships. I even got some travel tips from Sensei Mari. We made good progress on Minna no Nihongo, working through some sentence patterns that were new to me. Looking forward to the next lesson!
