Hello there!
I studied psychology for 4 years in Melbourne and spent a few years working with children that have autism and developmental delay. However I really enjoy travelling, so I decided to take a break from my studies in the field, and move abroad to Greece so that I can be immersed in the Greek culture of my parents and travel to neighbouring countries in Europe.
Some of my other hobbies include cooking; watching movies; drawing; reading and hiking. I love meeting new people; trying new foods and going out to nature.Me as a Teacher
I do not have formal training as a teacher, but I was a behavioural therapist for over 5 years which did involve teaching and maintaining new skills for young children with autism and developmental delay.
Drawing on my experience working in this setting, I am relaxed and like to create an engaging and fun learning environment; so that we can both enjoy the process. I am super friendly and patient, and can adapt to your learning style! My lessons & teaching style
I offer an easy-going and friendly space to practice informal conversation together in Greek or in English; talking about any topics that we mutually find interesting. This way we can get to know one another in a relaxed style, whilst also exercising your language abilities!
Depending on your particular learning needs, we can absolutely adapt our lessons together. For instance I could help you prepare for any tests you might have coming up, or going over any vocabulary that you might be struggling with. Perhaps you are planning a trip and want to be able to say the basics to get by! I am open to any suggestions you might have.Education

I had such an amazing lesson with Marianna! I felt totally in my comfort zone all the time (despite not having a super high Greek level) and she gave me a lot of motivation to keep on studying.
