Hello. I’m Yukako. I live in Miyazaki, Japan.I usually speak standard Japanese. But I can also speak Kyushu dialect. I’m really into Japanese Tea and Anko (red bean paste). I have a Japanese tea adviser qualification and I’m a Japan Anko Association “AN”bassador. Recently I’ve been studying Web design and trying to improve my illustrator skills and coding skills. I lived in States and Canada for 1 year so I can answer your question in English if it's needed. I’m really looking forward to talking with you and helping learn Japanese!

The writing practice has been really helpful. I ended up writing about some things from when I was little, but could never really express it properly in Japanese. She corrected it and we went through it line by line. She taught me some new words and some super convenient conjunctions! I noticed a bunch of N3 grammar that I haven’t started yet, but because of reading practice everything made sense. Where there were subtle differences in meaning that a native speaker would know what I meant but it wasn’t natural she explained these so that I could understand the difference. Yukako Sensei is awesome!

I asked Yukako-sensei to strictly correct every mistake I made immediately, and she did exactly that. She listened carefully and immediately pointed out any errors in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I’ve taken lessons with a few other teachers, but not many of them had the same level of patience, attention to detail, or willingness to correct me as Yukako-sensei. I’m really happy with her teaching and how much she helped me improve. If you’re looking for a teacher who will correct you thoroughly and help you progress efficiently, I highly recommend her!
