Hi,
My name is Michael and I am from Birmingham, in the United Kingdom. I have been teaching on Italki for 18 months, and I have recently completed a CELTA qualification.
I am a native speaker of English. I offer conversational practice, discussion topics, grammar lessons, pronunciation practice and descriptive activities. I design courses and lessons based on what you need and want from a lesson.
Please note: My lessons are designed for adults. I do not teach children.

I use a mixture of activities and discussion topics.
The discussion topics help you to increase your vocabulary in different contexts. I can help you to understand context of examples of English you have encountered. I can also assist with grammar rules that you may need support with understanding.
We can discuss any subject that you feel comfortable with, whether that be travel, film, television, music, sport, food or anything else.
I’d be interested to hear more about where you are from and your culture.My lessons & teaching style
I have an informal, conversational teaching style. My lessons are focussed on discussion topics, but I also teach grammar and pronunciation. I prepare my own teaching materials.
I can support any student from beginners to intermediates and advanced learners.
You choose the topic that you want to discuss and the vocabulary or grammatical points that you'd like to focus on.
