Luis

I think this was the funnest first lesson I've ever had. Luis is super friendly, and you can tell he truly has a passion for teaching. I can't wait to learn more from him.

Prepared is an understatement!! The fact that Luis uses everything he knows about a kid's joys and passions and then makes funny short videos to teach a new concept in a fun way -- mind blowing!! Today he had Ellen interviewing Chewbacca. I can't imagine there is a better teacher on this website. I highly doubt it!! Another great lesson!!

Very good lesson. Luis has many visual materials and is a great teacher. I will book more lessons with him in the future!

Your audio could be improved. Getting a headset with a boom microphone would be helpful. The microphone on the cable makes your audio a bit muddled and sometimes hard to understand. Also, if you speak too fast, I get focused on trying to translate the Spanish in my head and then I lose track of what your saying next. Speak slightly slower or at least pause slightly after saying a comment so I can digest what was just said before continuing.

Luis provided a fantastic trial lesson. He gathered relevant information from me, gave me a sense of my current level, and provided clear options for how to move forward (including some flexibility in what type of class and level of structure I prefer). He was very skillful in demonstrating what a class with him would be like in the future by selecting a topic that I said I'd like to work on and then providing a real-time demonstration using his learning tools / cards, the whiteboard, and screensharing. He was patient and put me at ease, and was very effective as an educator. Thanks Luis!

Me encantó la clase de conversación. Luis siempre tenia preguntas o opiniones para avanzar la conversación, y no había silencios incomodos. Ha vivido en muchos lugares y sus experiences le dan una habilidad de comparar varias culturas y el puede platicar al respecto. Gracias!
