Luis Arturo

Luis Arturo has been helping our 3 kids learn spanish (10, 8, and 5). They always look forward to their next session, and have grown in their understanding and vocabulary as we practice at home. Would highly recommend.

Luis is a knowledgeable linguist and a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him twice a week for over a year, and have improved to the point where our classes are now almost entirely in Spanish. He is easy to talk with, and corrects my mistakes clearly and patiently. Luis offers a variety of instructional materials, and tailors both lessons and homework to my interests. He is a professional, always polite and on time. I highly recommend Luis as your Spanish teacher.

I’ve taken classes with Luis for the past few years and can confidently say you won’t find a better Spanish professor. Luis is very knowledgeable of the Spanish language and very passionate about teaching the language. He goes the extra yard to ensure that you have everything you need to succeed.

I have been speaking Spanish since birth, however, but I have only ever spoken Spanish in the household and around family/friends, never in an scholastic setting. Because of this, I have holes in my Spanish that although technically I am a "native speaker" make me be at the level of a truly native speaker. Luis Arturo has greatly helped in identifying these areas and has been helping me improve. If I, as a Spanish speaker since birth, have been learning a lot from Luis Arturo, then I am sure anyone trying to learn Spanish as a new language will have even more to learn from him. Furthermore, he is very attentive to the needs I exhibit and catering to them. He makes sure to check in to confirm I am focusing on areas in which I feel less confident and to make sure I get the most out of these lessons.
