Hello! My name is Oswald Stuart, I am a Brazilian who was literate in French. I studied in a French primary school because I lived four years in France during my childhood. Also, I lived one year in my early adulthood when I did an interchange program at my university.
I have been teaching French, Portuguese, and English online since 2015 using the communicative approach. I set lessons according to student goals, which can be General French, Conversation Class, Exams Preparation, and Writing and Speaking Improvement. I am a calm and attentive teacher who employs dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals, sites, audio, and voice recognition apps during my courses.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching French since 2015 on the Internet. I am currently studying Languages at University. I have an Advanced English-level certificate from British Council and an Advanced French Level certificate from French Government. I have done one year of an interchange program in France at Université-Pierre-Mendès 2, 3 years of studies in Economics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and I have taken courses in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Sign languages at the same institution. I believe that anybody can learn a new language as long as they are correctly motivated by the teacher. I think I have the necessary background to teach appropriately to my students.My lessons & teaching style
I taught French at university in 2017 using the communicative approach. But before, I have already taught French in an NGO for vulnerable teenagers using language manuals, the Internet, films, and some neuro programming techniques. Since 2015, I have also been teaching classes mostly for young adults. I use modern manuals, multimedia resources, audio, radio, TV, speech recognition programs, music, films, dictionaries, grammar, the Internet in general, and translation methods.
Teaching by the communicative approach means that real communication situations are what really matters. I also can give tasks about daily life routines for my student, such as making a shopping list in a supermarket.My teaching material
