Frank

Frank has been the best teacher that I have encountered in the past few years. Very professional, speaks perfect English which is important to explain complex advanced terms and just a very dedicated teacher in general. Following the first class, I booked immediately another 20 classes with him. For reference, I have already passed the HSK 6 exam and have been studying Chinese for over 5 years.

Frank is an excellent and well prepared teacher who is able to teach highly specialised an niche topics. He usually sends me a short vocabulary list in advance. In class, we discuss a topic in detail. I am very satisfied and will continue to take Frank's class.

First lesson of the new year. I was feeling rusty after a couple of weeks away, but Frank was very patient and explained everything very well.

I have been learning with Frank for a long time since I enjoy Mandarin and have no pressure to pass exams or improve very fast, but let me tell you: back when I started taking lessons with him I could barely string a sentence together, and by lesson number 10 I remember I could talk comfortably about Christmas shopping with simple vocabulary. Further, I could describe pictures with ease following his structured lessons. He is an extremely efficient, dedicated and passionate teacher, has always adapted to my goals, and the pace I felt I needed (I had times when I wanted a more relaxed approach, and times when I wanted to cram and prepare the HSK4 exam 2 years ago, which I passed with good grades thanks to his tips and strategies). Both casual and targeted lessons are worth the money for sure, and I cannot recommend him enough.
