Takumi

I am really glad I chose Takumi as the teacher because firstly he is very knowledgeable and knows how to explain things in an easy to understand way, and secondly because he is also a very sunny person who I really enjoy talking to and learning from. I was really nervous trying to talk in Japanese in general, as I am not good at it yet and I lack lots of words, grammar and courage to say anything, even if it is not correct, but in just 2 lessons that fear is completely gone thanks to this teacher. I'd recommend Takumi any time!

After completing 5 lessons lasting 90 minutes each I can say that I am really satisfied and recommend Takumi-san to everybody. He is very polite and will definitely answer your questions to the best of his ability, while also being very flexible depending on your needs. He will pay attention to your weak spots and help you work on them as well. Not to mention that the lessons are always fun and I’m having tons of laughter while learning and that makes it 100% enjoyable. Will definitely book more lessons :)

Takumi-sensei's class was amazing - he was able to explain grammatical concepts visually and with modelling. He is really an amazing teaching and I can say my Japanese continues to progress because of his guidance and teaching.

I had no prior experience learning Japanese prior to joining Italki. I've been working with Takumi San for about two months now and wanted to write a review. Takumi has been amazing at helping me learn very quickly!! He clearly knows how to work with new learners. He does a good mix of grammar lessons, practice with those lessons, and speaking. He is patient and also does a good job of mixing the textbook Japanese with practical usage. I'd highly recommend him, especially for anyone who is learning Japanese for the first time!!
