I’m a professional and certified English teacher from the United States. I’ve been teaching for over 12 years now, and I’m passionate about helping learners improve on their English language skills to gain more opportunities in their lives. I specialize in general English, Exam Preparation and Business English.Me as a Teacher
I have worked with all levels and can tailor the lessons to fit your needs and goals. My focus lately has been teaching university students who are Business majors planning on studying and working abroad. The main area of focus has been: IELTS test preparation, English for academic purposes and Business English skills for the workplace. I also have a background in IT as a software developer, and have taught the subject at the high school level, so if you need help improving your English for work in the IT field, I can help with that as well.My lessons & teaching style
I’m a patient and compassionate teacher that will push you and encourage you to obtain your goals. My main philosophy in the classroom is to instil confidence in my students. It was both very instructive and enjoyable to take lessons from Greg. In addition to discussing the content he sends, we also chat about various topics that arise naturally, making the class more fluid and educational.
He also pays close attention to my speech throughout the class, takes note of my mistakes, and reviews these sentences with me at the end. This helps me recognize my errors and improve by focusing on them. I must say that I find this method very useful, and it has become my favorite part of my classes with Greg.
