Carlos

The first word about Carlos that strikes me is 'sincere.' He genuinely cares about my learning and always goes above and beyond. This has not changed in the slightest since our first lesson. I've had 50 amazing lessons with Carlos and I can easily envisage myself enjoying his lessons more and more.

Not only is Carlos a good professor, he is also fun to talk to!

Carlos is an exceptional Spanish teacher. His extensive experience teaching Spanish is paired with a large array of teaching materials. I believe he has a special talent for helping native English speakers because he is keenly aware of all the pitfalls native English speakers make when learning Spanish. The characteristic he has that I value the most is his ability to offer clear and concise explanations of difficult grammatical concepts. This allows me to develop confidence, which is absolutely essential when speaking a new language, where one has to manage many different situations on the fly.

Was a great lesson with Carlos. italki's platform was creating issues at times but Carlos resolved it by shifting to other video conferencing platforms. italki needs to resolve the issues as these have significant monetary consequences for all parties. It was only because Carlos was very good at managing the issues did we manage to have a great class.
