Hello and thank you for reading my profile! I am a Canadian currently living in Rome, Italy with my husband and daughter. As a native English speaker who had to learn Italian, I understand the struggle of learning a second language and completely appreciate the trials and triumphs of all it entails.

I have been teaching English as a second language to children for over seven years and nothing makes me happier than seeing my students progress and be able to converse in English. I have a degree in English and I love teaching kids; I am patient and kind and I understand that there is not one approach that works for all students. My approach to teaching is similar to my approach to life: a little bit of hard work and a lot of fun!My lessons & teaching style
I think it is important to have fun when learning because a child who has fun will be interested and will continue returning. I think repetition is key to learning because it often takes hearing something many times before we are able to commit it to memory. I love teaching kids because no class is ever the same as the last - kids keep teaching interesting!My teaching material
