Now, some details… I waited until I had 5 lessons with Maria before writing this review, so it could give you a more complete picture of what working with her is like. First, Maria is a truly amazing person! She is always full of energy and brings a day-brightening attitude to each lesson. The hour flies by — every time. In fact, while her iTalki video is good, it does not truly do justice to her energy and sense of humor. Maria is also a very effective teacher. This was only My first lesson with Maria, and I'm looking forward to see how things go from here! So far, I can tell that she has a very engaging teaching style. She was easily able to pick up on where I need to improve in my speaking, and tried to let me think about words I'd forgotten before giving them to me.
