About Me

I started teaching because I was once a language learner and I realized that many language learners, like myself, tried to learn the language by learning new vocabulary, grammar rules, and reading... but at the end, I couldn't communicate. I realized that the problem was that most classes were not communicative and when learners encountered a speaking situation they would freeze and lose their confidence because all their hard work seemed meaningless. I want to change that because I believe that one of the main purposes of learning a language (and the fun part!) is to be able to communicate with others and also learn about the culture.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are tailored to your needs. They are mainly conversational and I give you homework to reinforce what was covered in our lesson.
During our first lesson, I informally assess your English/Spanish level, get an idea of your needs and goals, and offer you suggestions on how to continue our lessons. I take your needs and preferences into account because I truly believe that there is no "one fits all" course or textbooks and learners have different expectations, goals, strengths, and weaknesses.
*Please keep in mind Informal classes are for INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED students who are ready to have free talk without any material.*My teaching material
