πNative English speaker and CELTA-qualified teacher from Liverpool in the UK π¬π§ I currently live in Strasbourg, France π¨π΅
πI love language-learning. I have studied 8 different languages. French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, German, Korean, Japanese.
πMy other interests include food, cooking, philosophy, football (I'm a Liverpool fan π΄), and many other sports and outdoor activities. I love animals and I foster cats from a local shelter.
πI have travelled to around 25 countries. Some of my favourites were Georgia π¬πͺ, Kyrgyzstan π°π¬, Greece π¬π·, and Peru π΅πͺ!Me as a Teacher
πI have 7 years of experience teaching English to people from around the world, both online and in person.
πI received my CELTA teaching qualification in 2019, allowing me to further improve my teaching methods and classes.
πI have taught English at language centres, schools and businesses in France. I have also given classes at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.My lessons & teaching style
πMy classes are mainly based on speaking and discussing different topics, but will have some grammar sprinkled in. We will use articles, videos, and presentations to help guide the lessons.
πI offer general and conversational classes, which will include lots of speaking, and activities based around different topics.
πI also offer IELTS preparation, and have helped students from around the world to reach their target score in the IELTS exam.
πI am a very relaxed person, and this is how I like to carry out my lessons. I like to create a comfortable environment where you can practice and improve with ease.My teaching material
