I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I also speak English and Italian fluently. I have more than 10 years of experience as a language teacher for children, teenagers and adults. In high school I learnt accounting and business management. I'm a biologist, currently pursuing my PhD, interested in evolution and bioinformatics, thus I have a wide understanding of technical and scientific language. I enjoy hiking, cooking, dancing, a good cup of coffee, desserts, and learning new things. However, what I enjoy the most is sharing my enthusiasm and my culture with people.
Me as a Teacher
My main interest is to teach you how to build your language skills with a solid base, so there won't be any empty or weak points. I'm patient, encouraging, and not self-compliant, which means I'll always motivate you and give you the tools to keep improving and take your knowledge to the next level. I take your passions and interests seriously and I include them in my planning. I'm looking for students from all nationalities and all levels.My lessons & teaching style
Our classes will be organized according to your level, interests and needs. We can have grammar lessons, conversational lessons, or general lessons. We can use several online resources to learn and practice; such as podcasts, films, music, or textbooks. Natalia is an incredibly intelligent, patient, sweet, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, prepared and a lot of fun as a teacher and person. I have a lot of laughs with her mostly at myself and my struggles to understand Spanish but none the less she is a great teacher and anyone looking for a great teacher and wanting to learn a language you would be a fool not to choose her as your teacher because she is the perfect person for the job. I really enjoy our lessons together.

I took my first ever iTalki class today with Natalia, we only had 30 minutes because it was a trial but I got so much out of it. I don’t have the chance to speak Spanish with anyone so I have just been self teaching and it was a great first start. She is kind, relatable and professional. She even went over with me a few minutes to answer my questions. The 30 minutes flew by. Thanks Natalia!
