Penny 賀佩

Lessons with Penny have really improved my Chinese and I would recommend her highly to any student, especially those who have a good foundation in the language and would like to become more fluent. She is curious and patient, which means that conversations with her are genuine and I get lots of opportunity to talk. She is also super reliable and has a rich background of experience in both mainland China and Taiwan, which gives her a unique perspective.

Today we had a conversation practice! I have to pause now and then to come up with words and expression to form a sentence, but no pressure, Pei laoshi is always very patient and will help you say what you want to say or say it better in different ways!

Penny 老師 quickly responded to my questions and concerns before I scheduled my trial session. Prior to our lesson, she asked me which Band of TOCFL I wanted to prepare for to ensure she presented the right level of test questions for our class. Afterwards, she shared with me which textbooks we could use moving forward. She is very organized, and I really appreciate how clear she makes the next steps to be. Highly recommended!
